About this geometric pattern coloring page
A poinsettia blooms at the center of a round stained glass window, like a rose window in an old church. Twelve pointed bracts in two layers surround a center of small round buds, and every bract is divided by its midrib and side veins into separate panes. Green leaves peek out between them. Behind the flower, the background of the window is broken into irregular panes of leaded glass, and the window is held in a double frame: an inner ring of narrow panels and an outer ring of blocks set with round glass beads. Outside the circle the corners are filled with more mosaic panes and a holly sprig in each corner. With 324 regions it is a detailed page, big enough to take a few evenings, with a striking finish when the red flower glows against the glass behind it.

Coloring tips
Color the bracts in reds from scarlet to deep crimson, using a lighter red near the center and a darker one at the tips. Keep the buds gold and green. Fill the background panes with cool colors, like teal, blue and violet, so the red flower pops. A warm gold on the frame beads and soft grey on the outside corners finish the window.
