About this geometric pattern coloring page
This page is a drift of fallen leaves, packed edge to edge like the sidewalk after a windy October night. You'll find broad maple leaves with pointed lobes, oak leaves with wavy edges, and small, slender birch leaves. Each leaf has a few simple veins that split it into sections, so there are plenty of shapes to fill. The leaves overlap and point in every direction, which keeps the pattern relaxed and natural rather than stiff, so there's no "wrong" way to color it. With 190 regions it's a medium page, a good one for a cozy hour with a hot drink. Unlike our mandalas, there's no symmetry to track: you can just pick a leaf and go, and the small gaps between the leaves give you a ready-made background to fill last.

Coloring tips
Give every leaf its own color, choosing from a narrow autumn range: rust, amber, gold, olive and a little burgundy. Color one side of each vein a shade darker than the other for an instant sense of depth. Leave the gaps between leaves dark brown or deep green, and the whole page will glow like a forest floor in late afternoon sun.
