About this tangle pattern coloring page
A Christmas tree where every tier is filled with a different tangle pattern. The four scalloped tiers hold fish scales, stripes, waves, orbs and grids, so no two parts of the tree look alike. Round baubles hang along the scalloped hem of each tier, a big star crowns the top, and the trunk stands in a pot with a checkered pattern. The tree sits on a snowy hill covered in scales, and behind it, rays and rings of light spread out from the star across a sky dotted with snow stars, so even the background has plenty of regions to color. With 526 regions it is a detailed page, the kind of project that suits long winter evenings. Because every tier is its own pattern, you can color one tier at a time and stop whenever you like.

Coloring tips
Pick a different green for each tier, from deep forest to bright lime, and use one accent color throughout the baubles. Gold or yellow on the star and the inner rings of light makes the tree look lit up. Color the sky rays in alternating shades of navy and blue, and leave the snow hill white or pale blue.
