About this tangle pattern coloring page
A butterfly spreads its wings across the page, each wing divided by curving strings into sections of tangle patterns. The left and right sides mirror each other perfectly, so you can color one wing and match the other, or deliberately break the symmetry for a more playful look. A slender body and curled antennae finish the design. The page has 276 regions, a medium design with varied textures: stripes, scales, circles, grids and more. Butterflies are a timeless coloring subject, and the tangle patterns let you create a wing that looks like stained glass or a rare tropical species.

Coloring tips
Mirror your colors across the two wings for a natural look, using the eyedropper to copy each color exactly. Bright jewel tones such as turquoise, violet and gold work beautifully. Keep the body dark so it separates the two wings clearly. For a fantasy version, give every section a different color and let the mirrored wings form a rainbow from body to wingtip.
