About this tangle pattern coloring page
A single large leaf stretches diagonally across the page from a short stem. Its midrib and side veins divide it into sections, and every section holds a different tangle pattern: scales, stripes, orbs, waves, grids, scattered circles, petals, aura lines, zigzags and checks. With 237 regions it is a medium page, and the veins give the patterns a natural, organic structure. It is a lovely page to color in seasonal greens or in the warm reds and golds of autumn, and it shows off how many different textures can live inside one simple shape.

Coloring tips
Shift the colors from section to section like a leaf turning in autumn: green near the stem, then yellow, orange and red at the tip. Keep the veins themselves simple by coloring them all one shade. A pale background makes the leaf look crisp and botanical. For a spring version, use only greens in five or six shades, from lime to deep forest, and the patterns alone will give the leaf texture.
